Becker County is a county in the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of the 2020 census, the population was 35,183. [2] Its county seat is Detroit Lakes. [3] Part of the White Earth Indian Reservation extends into the county. The county was created in 1858 and organized in 1871.

Carp Lake is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in the township on the northwest shore of Lake Paradise at U.S. Highway 31 passes through the community, with Interstate 75 four miles (6.4 km) to the north and Mackinaw City and the Mackinac Bridge two miles further north.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 28.2 square miles (73.0 km 2), of which 23.6 square miles (61.1 km 2) is land and 4.6 square miles (11.9 km 2), or 16.33%, is water. The north half of the city of Detroit Lakes is within this township geographically but Detroit Lakes is a separate entity.
The Great Lakes Field Service Council was a field service council of the Michigan Crossroads Council, a local council of the Boy Scouts of America.
