Wilfred Bagwell-Purefoy (13 June 1862 – 10 March 1930) [1] was a British breeder of racehorses and a director of several companies. [2]The eldest son of Colonel Edward Bagwell-Purefoy of the Greenfields estate, County Tipperary, [3] Wilfred Bagwell-Purefoy was educated at Harrow School and then at the Royal Military College, Sandhurst.
His son, Postell Patterson (1906–1981), who had worked with him, closed the business in 1939. [3] No Patterson-Greenfield autos are known to exist (as of 2004), but some of his father's C.R.
