The Fine Arts and Flower Building, Altamont Fairground, also known as Exhibition Hall, was built in 1896 as part of the Altamont Fairgrounds in Village of Altamont, New York, near Albany. The building is the only part of the fairground that remains largely in its original configuration.
A village fair has been held annually in the local fairgrounds since 1893. The fairground is also the site of other festivals. The village incorporated in 1890. [3] Hiram Griggs (1836–1909) was the first mayor of the village of Altamont and his house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010. [4]
