After a bad shut down, and after restating Utorrent, pending downloads are "Checked". That is, under the status bar, before downloading resumes, Utorrent does some kind of 'checking'. It is slow, tedious and a 4Gig file can take 15 minutes AND, it only does one file at a time!. Once completed, Utorrent will re-start any dloads.

Posted February 20, 2007. Higher uploads like those on 100mbit uplinks get no benefit from the initial seed mode in uTorrent. They're putting out pieces faster than people request them, so initial seed has a hard time catching up. BitTornado's super-seed mode has a history of working more consistently.
BOOYAH!!! SUCCESS!!! 2-3hrs of mucking around, I now am successfully 12% of the way through a magnet file in my uTorrent.. :cool: Open a chrome browser, install an app from Chromestore (magentme or magnet2torrent etc) it basically shortens/converts the magnet file to a torrent file.. took 2min to install, <1min to get magnet into uTorrent = happy camper!!!
