All TV episodes were released on Region 2 DVD by Carlton in 2000 and 2001. [1] A Region 1 box set by A&E Home Video followed in 2002. [ 2 ] The episodes were released on Blu-ray Disc in 2008.
Region 1 DVDs were released by North American distributor A&E Home Video in 2001, with a "Complete Series" box set following in 2002; it was re-released in slimmer packaging in 2008. The same year, Thunderbirds was released, both in instalments and as a box set, on Blu-ray Disc in the UK. [ 34 ]

"Alias Mr. Hackenbacker" has more guest characters in speaking roles than any other Thunderbirds episode. [1] It is the only episode to feature voices by Paul Maxwell, who was uncredited for his contributions. Maxwell had previously voiced Colonel Zodiac in Fireball XL5 and Captain Travers in Thunderbirds Are Go. [1] [3]
Thunderbirds Are Go was first released on DVD in 2001, in Regions 2 and 4, by MGM. [86] [87] In 2004, an "International Rescue Edition" was released; this was also available in Region 1 and was marketed both separately and as a box set with Thunderbird 6.
In 1982, the New York branch of ITC paired the episode with the Series Two instalment "Atlantic Inferno" (also written by Fennell) to create the Thunderbirds compilation film Countdown To Disaster. The episode was subsequently serialised by Fennell and Keith Page in issues nine to eleven of Fleetway 's Thunderbirds: The Comic , published in 1992.
