In 2008, Grange was also ranked #1 on ESPN's Top 25 Players In College Football History list. In honor of his achievements at the University of Illinois, the school erected a 12-ft statue of Grange at the start of the 2009 football season. In 2011, Grange was announced as number one on the "Big Ten Icons" series presented by the Big Ten Network.
Morris was born on November 18, 2003, in Bolingbrook, Illinois. He attended Nazareth Academy in La Grange Park, Illinois , where he was high school teammates with J. J. McCarthy . [ 1 ] McCarthy and Morris connected for 68 receptions, 1,237 yards, and 17 touchdowns in Morris’ sophomore season in 2019.
In 1939, Bennett was hired as a football coach and athletic director at Lyons Township High School in La Grange, Illinois. [9] [10] He coached the Lyons Township football team for 21 years and won 11 West Suburban Conference championships. Players he coached include future Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos head coach Lou Saban. [11]
Jeff Mitchell Kelly III (born December 13, 1975) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the Kansas State Wildcats. He was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the sixth round of the 1999 NFL draft. [1]

An exception to this is Red Grange, who appears several times on these lists despite playing in the 1920s.
