Below is an all-time medal table for all Paralympic Games from 1960 to 2024. The International Paralympic Committee does not publish all-time tables, and publishes unofficial tables only per single Games. This table was thus compiled by collating single entries from the IPC database. [1]
The medal table of the 2024 Summer Paralympics ranks the participating National Paralympic Committees (NPCs) by the number of gold medals that were won by their athletes during the competition. The 2024 Paralympics was the seventeenth Games to be held, a quadrennial competition open to athletes with physical and intellectual disabilities.
When a US athlete wins an Olympic medal, as of 2016, the USOPC paid the winner $25,000 for gold, $15,000 for silver, and $10,000 for bronze. [1] The USOPC increased the payouts by 25% to $37,000 for gold, $22,500 for silver, and $15,000 for bronze beginning in 2017. [ 2 ]
The table does not count revoked medals (e.g., due to doping). A total of 162 current and historical NOCs have earned at least one medal. Medal totals in this table are current through the 2024 Summer Olympics, and all changes in medal standings due to doping cases and medal redistributions up to 11 August 2024 are taken into account.
The Paralympics listed for each athlete only include games when they won medals. See the particular article on the athlete for more details on when and for what nation an athlete competed. More medals are available in some events than others, and the number of events in which medals are available overall have changed over time.
