I'm on a PC running Windows 10 Version 1903 Build 18362.418, 64 bit. I regularily install new updates as available. I have 8 GB RAM and definately have more than 1 GB available disk space. I have DropBox 83.4.152 and it's up to date. My files are syncing with no problem. I can see them on my phone DropBox app. I have restarted my computer.

The Dropbox app is not starting with the computer, and when I double-click the icon in the Start menu nothing seems to happen. Checking with Task Manager, three processes do open, only to then close one after the other. Have tried uninstalling, but it fails. Start menu icon had no properties. I then went to the desktop icon that will open the program and replaced the taskbar icon target with the path C:\Users\robch\Dropbox. which will now open the program from the taskbar. The executable icon in the program folder remains as per the attached photo.
Thanks for the help guys, I got there in the end but it was far from straight forward. I followed the advanced uninstall but that left two files in the client folder (DropboxExt.22.0.dll and DropboxExt64.22.0.dll) that refused to delete. I kept getting 'access denied'. I eventually deleted them by starting Windows 10 in Safe Mode.

Hannah (or whoever can help me): I uninstalled, rebooted, deleted the only Dropbox folder I found (in PROGRAMFILES (X86)), and downloaded and double-clicked Dropboxinstaller.exe. It took about 3 minutes to download the desktop app. The install ran for about three more minutes before apparently stopping.
