Anthology is a greatest hits collection of the Babys, spanning the years 1976–1980. Originally released in 1981 on Chrysalis Records, it was remastered and reissued with bonus tracks on Capitol Records in 2000. [2] The album charted at number 138 on the Billboard 200. [3] The song "Money" had not appeared on any Babys album.
The group signed a contract with Chrysalis Records that was the highest ever for a new music act at the time. Two studio albums, The Babys and Broken Heart, were well received. After recording their third album, Head First, in 1978, co-founder Michael Corby was replaced by Jonathan Cain as keyboardist and Ricky Phillips took over as bassist. [1]

Head First is the third album by the Babys. Internal conflicts led to founder, guitarist and keyboard player Michael Corby being removed from the group by Chrysalis on 28 August 1978. The three remaining members—John Waite, Wally Stocker and Tony Brock—completed the album for a December 1978 release. [4]
A remix version of "You Spin Me Round" was released in 2003 at the same time Dead or Alive's greatest hits album Evolution: The Hits was released. The song reached No. 23 on the UK Singles Chart .
