My Gf and I were non-renewed by state farm for having too many claims, she called for roadside assistance twice in a year, flat tire and dead battery. There were no other claims in the 4 years we had State Farm. We switched to Progressive and weren't eligible for no claims discount due to the roadside assistance claims made with State Farm.

You call your roadside assistance to haul your butt out of there. But you get someone who doesn't speak English, and it's a bad connection because it's THAT far away. Good luck with that, I'm not doing it - staying with AAA come what may. There are a lot of ways to save and make $, skimping on a yearly $140 roadside assistance bill isn't a good ...

For the past few years, I'm using the roadside assistance service that came with my Chase credit card. I've used twice so far, both time were surprisingly good experiences compared to AAA. The phone conversation was short and on-point, the service person was assigned almost immediately and got text updates (the assistance is about 15 min away ...

Previously, I had used AAA for over 25 yrs. The cost kept going up, and the service kept going down. I've waited on the PA Trnpk for 6 hrs for AAA help. Also, my neighbor was "canceled" after she called for AAA help more than 3x in a one year period‼️ There's downsides to either, it seems.

For most the most expensive cost is towing. AAA Basic only pays for 5 miles, AAA Plus pays up to 100 miles. Can be a big deal for most. Key is who are participating vendors - which tow companies are members near where you live? Check specifically what Geico offers in "assistance" vs. AAA. Check for jump starting, flat tires, and towing are the ...

AAA roadside assistance review I have/had the premier membership with trailers included and had a flat tire and needed to change it real quick on my car. AAA app stated that someone would be there in 40 minutes at 4pm and nobody showed.

I used Roadside Assistance a few weeks ago for my Santa Fe, can't speak recently on AAA but, Roadside did an excellent job communicating status updates and driver locations (even sent me a link to view real time locations and ETA) Also, with Roadside, they walk you through a checklist of issues and suggest fixes if possible.

  10. USAA Roadside VS AAA : r/USAA - Reddit

A standalone AAA towing policy? It’s way better. It’s almost comparing apples to oranges. USAA roadside is very basic towing that’s like 2-3 a month. AAA standalone policy is way more extensive but they can also run 70-80$+ a year. I would obviously considered the AAA “better” but that’s a given with the price point difference.

The vehicle had New India Assurance with AAA Membership. We called the 24/7 hotline and we said we are met with accident we need help to tow the vehicle. Guess what they replied? They said AAA Roadside Assistance doesn't cover towing for Accidents and I must pay the amount driver asks and the Driver asked 20 OMR to tow the vehicle.
