William Carey International University (WCIU) is a private faith-based university in Pasadena, California, USA, that provides distance education programs. WCIU offers online-only graduate degree programs in International Development with various specializations and is affiliated with several Christian non-governmental organizations.
The Pasadena City College Honor Band and Herald Trumpets perform first, followed by other bands. All bands are invited to perform at Bandfest, but all do not necessarily perform (typically the university bands involved in the Rose Bowl Game). The band members are treated to lunch from In-N-Out Burger with on-site kitchen-trailers.

He moved to Pasadena when he was a child and was a paperboy for Pasadena Star-News from age 9–17. [2] His father was a dishwasher and cook at a local Mexican restaurant. His mother was a seamstress. He attended Pasadena High School where he played football, soccer, and baseball. He obtained his Associate degree at Pasadena City College.
