Swellendam Municipality (Afrikaans: Swellendam Munisipaliteit) is a local municipality located within the Overberg District Municipality, in the Western Cape province of South Africa. As of 2022, it had a population of 47,114.

Drostdy Museum is located in Swellendam, South Africa. The building was built in 1747 by the Dutch East India Company as a residence for the Magistrate.
