Samora Machel constituency (red) in the Khomas Region (yellow) Samora Machel Constituency (formerly known as Wanaheda Constituency) is a constituency in Windhoek in the Khomas Region of central Namibia. The constituency is located across four northern suburbs of Windhoek: Wanaheda, Greenwell Matongo, Goreangab, and part of Havana.
Gamsberg Nature Reserve is a protected reserve of Namibia, located west of Rehoboth. [1] Within the reserve the flat-topped Gamsberg mountain is found. With its 2,347 m (7,700 ft) above sea level it is said to be the third highest mountain in Namibia. [2] The mountains separating the Namib Desert form the Khomas highlands. [3]
Groot Aub (German: Groß Aub) is a settlement located approximately 60 kilometres (37 mi) south of Windhoek, in the Khomas Region of Namibia. It belongs to the Windhoek Rural electoral constituency and houses its constituency office. [1] In September 2017 Groot Aub was incorporated into the capital Windhoek. [2]
