The game has been developed since 2009 by Jan Zelený. It was inspired by the games Sid Meier's Railroad Tycoon, Transport Tycoon and others. Originally, the game was developed in his free time, but since June 2018, the author Jan Zelený has devoted himself to it fully. He created his own three-dimensional game engine for it. [1]
Some advanced parts such as turntables are absent from the game, and all engines on the same track will all move at once, the same speed and direction, much like a real life DC model railway. Engines included in the first edition include the LNER Class A1/A3 , the LNER Class A4 , Smokey Joe and the Eurostar .
