Deer Creek Township is one of twenty-four townships in Bates County, Missouri, and is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area within the USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 2,162. [1] The township was named for a nearby creek of the same name where deer were abundant. [2]
A post office called Deer Park was established in 1886, and remained in operation until 1907. [2] The community was named for the abundance of deer in a nature reserve park near the original town site. [3] It is near the present day Three Creeks Conservation Area.

Indian Camp Creek Park is a public park in Foristell, Missouri. It is located in the northwestern part of St. Charles County and is operated by the St. Charles County Parks Department.
