By personal experience (I bake both bread and focaccia) I have to say that the belief that focaccia is a closer relative of pizza than bread is a very common misconception. One can take bread dough and turn it into focaccia, but not pizza dough and do the same. 173.206.227.239 03:04, 6 September 2014 (UTC)
