Hello Phil, AVG Driver Updater can be uninstalled from your computer control panel. Please open your control panel, click on "Program", from the list search for "AVG Driver Updater".

Please stop the ongoing scan or update, restart your computer once. Then, initiate a new AVG Driver Updater scan and check the status. Let us know if the issue still persists after performing the above steps. the program is not in the scan process, it is in the update process and I can find no way to end the update process.
