Just saw this on Forgotten Weapons, it's a grip technique created by a shooter named Rhett Neumayer for stockless PDW-style pistols like the Steyr TP9 or Kel-Tec CP-33. Your weak hand clamps around a red dot near the front of the gun while you get a cheek weld on the back of the receiver. It makes you look somewhere between CostaGrip and Center ...

All I know is that years ago I was at a store when some guy brought in a weird gun and the main gun counter guy directed him to their "expert". At the time I was surprised they would do that and made note of their go-to-guy. Later when I saw FW I wondered if it was the same guy. Studied mechanical engineering IIRC.

It's funny that for all the time and expense ($300 million!) spent on the ACR program, they didn't consider mass issuing the one component in it that would have drastically increased hit probability without changing the gun or ammo. Here's his Steyr ACR video for people who don't think the AUG is worthy of Ian's time.

Ian has some troll off 4chan who's doing a good job painting him as ANTIFA or some shit. Idk, I've never met him personally but I have a friend who knows him pretty well that I trust. Says hes pretty much what you see online, a history and gun nerd with pretty middle of the road opinions on most shit. Posted: 7/31/2020 6:19:25 PM EDT.

That dude is so butt hurt. InRange is ran by communist John brown gun club antifa types. Forgotten weapons wants nothing to do with that bullshit apparently which is good. Administrative results, guy in balaclava, got doxxed by leftists. Turned out he was a handsome, hetero, married, father, that goes to church.

Among other weapons, I had an extraordinary rifle that carried a half-pound percussion shell—this instrument of torture to the hunter was not sufficiently heavy for the weight of the projectile; it only weighed twenty pounds: thus, with a charge of ten drachms [270 grains] of powder, behind a half-pound shell, the recoil was so terrific, that I spun around like a weathercock in a hurricane.
