Bảo Ninh is a town and rural commune (xã) in Đồng Hới city, the capital of Quảng Bình Province, North Central Coast region of Vietnam. This commune is located on the right bank of Nhật Lệ River, by the South China Sea. As of 2009, this commune has a population of 8,906 inhabitants, an area of 13.64 square kilometers. [1]
Ninh Binh–Haiphong Expressway (Vietnamese: Đường cao tốc Ninh Bình–Hải Phòng, labelled CT.08) is a partially completed expressway in Vietnam, running for 109 km connecting Ninh Binh to Haiphong. The route connects the northern coastal provinces of Vietnam with the North-South expressway.

It is located along the coast of northeastern Ninh Thuận, not far from (although not bordering) Cam Ranh in Khánh Hòa province. It borders the provincial capital, Phan Rang–Tháp Chàm, as well as Bác Ái district. Most of the district is mountainous, especially in the eastern part along the coast.
