RFA Robert Dundas (A204) was the lead ship of her class of coastal stores carriers of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary.Launched on 28 July 1938, the Robert Dundas was commissioned on 10 November 1938 and served until decommissioned on 8 December 1971.

Robert Dundas of Arniston (6 June 1758 – 17 June 1819) was a Scottish judge. Dundas served as Solicitor General for Scotland between 1784 and 1789 and as Lord Advocate from 1789 to 1801. He sat as Member of Parliament for Edinburghshire from 1790 to 1801, and was Chief Baron of the Exchequer in Scotland from 1801 until his death in 1819.
He was the eldest son of Sir James Dundas, Lord Arniston, by Marion, daughter of Robert, Lord Boyd. He was educated abroad, but returned to Scotland as an adherent of the Prince of Orange , and represented Midlothian in the parliaments of 1700–2 and 1702–7.
