In 2007, a new train stop called Ostrava centrum opened close to the end of the street. [1] Since 2008, the train stop has been called Ostrava-Stodolní [2] and it is supposed to make travelling to the city centre significantly easier. It was built by the Ostrava company Noe & Storch. The Antonín Dvořák Theatre was the first building in what is now the Czech Republic to use reinforced concrete beams.
