Unbelievable is the fifth studio album by American country music group Diamond Rio. [4] Its title track and "You're Gone" were both Top 5 hits on the country charts in 1998-1999, while "I Know How the River Feels" (originally cut by Ty Herndon on his Living in a Moment album) was a minor Top 40, and was later a #69 for the group McAlyster in 2000.
Diamond Rio charted four additional number one hits: "How Your Love Makes Me Feel" (1997), "One More Day" (2001), "Beautiful Mess" (2002), and "I Believe" (2003). The latter three charted in the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 , as did 1999's "Unbelievable", which was a number two on the country chart.
The tracks "God Only Cries", "Redneck Love Gone Bad", "Over You" and "In God We Still Trust" were newly recorded for the album. "God Only Cries" was the only one of these to be released as a single; it peaked at number 30 on the Hot Country Songs charts in mid-2006, shortly before the band exited Arista's roster.
