AIRB0RNE6176. Another vote for the Romeo1Pro on the P229 Legion (or any other Classic P series SIG). Over 1,500rds and not a single problem or zero shift. I run mine with the metal shroud and suppressor height sights, and the 6 MOA dot is perfect for my eyes and intended use.

At the top of my list is the Legion. I've also been checking out the Equinox, the Elite, the SAS, and a few others. But I still can't make up my mind.

It took some time to accustom myself to the Middle Finger release for the ALS , but once I was comfortable with it, I find it is my favorite. The 229 is a Big Pistol to hide, and so I wear a jacket with it ...

Speer Gold dot 9mm 124 Grain JHP Muzzle Energy 364 ftlbs Velocity 1150 fps. Speer Gold dot 9mm 124 Grain JHP +p Muzzle Energy 410 ftlbs Velocity 1220 fps. So the +p gives you 12.6% more energy and 6% more muzzle velocity. One way to look at it would be that the 70 ft/s advantage of the +p is roughly the same velocity difference between point ...

  7. DA/SA vs SAO for a P229 | SIG Talk

I had a sig legion P229 DA/SA in .40 back in 2016, sold that, now have the P229 in SAO and I very much enjoy it. Much shorter trigger reach with the flat faced trigger. Wished Sig made a P229 SAO in .40 or .357 sig. I will get that P220 legion sao in 10mm next year.

I just found Tier-1 holsters and they have a few models that fit the 229 Legion (both light and non light bearing) and sell with the safariland holster fork and paddle to mount to safariland system. Also think the true north concepts modular adapter is the way to go for mid ride use cases.

  10. A better P229 than the Legion P229 for the same price... - SIG...

    www.sigtalk.com/threads/a-better-p229-than-the-legion-p229-for-the-same-price...

A better P229 than the Legion P229 for the same price... The P229 Sport. Ok, so it isn't a fair comparison, used vs new, but asking for a NIB handgun from 1997 isn't fair either. At any rate, I am excited (jumping up and down doing my snoopy dance) to get my hands on this classic SIG P229 Sport used. I had been going back and forth on finally ...

That way you put the correct threaded mount/piston on it and use it with the selected gun/caliber. Be aware that most P226 threaded barrels in 9mm use metric left handed threads as opposed the more common 1/2"x28 found on other guns. So you need to that mount for your P226. On the MPX you don't need to necessarily use a piston in the suppressor ...
