Regardless of rankings, you have better outcomes coming out of schools ranked lower than Wake Forest like BC, BU, Emory, Fordham, GW, Notre Dame, UC Irvine, Illinois, and UNC. Wake Forest is a good school in its region, but it is significantly over-ranked at 22. Texas A&M might be the only other school whose top 30 ranking is more egregious. 26.

Wake Forest. School/Region Discussion. Admitted with $$! I’m from the Midwest and have some really exciting options including GW and Fordham. But something about WFU makes me feel really good. Seems like it has a great balance of vibrancy downtown and in surrounding neighborhoods and quiet, scenic places too.
