The 1/8 mile speed is only to determine how accurate the model is. If the estimated 1/8 mile speed is close to the speed on your time slip, the 0-60 time should be accurate. Let me know what you think. cool - 1.715 60', 5.064 330', and 7.76 1/8 mile = 3.81 0-60.

Finally, there is a 0-60 calculator on the Wallace Racing site. This calculator uses only the eighth mile time and speed to estimate the 0-60 times. I compared dozens of my timeslips using both methods, and they generally agreed to within a few percent. Pretty good for an engineering estimate.

Simply enter the times for 60, 330, and 1/8 mile (660') into the table on the right, and the spreadsheet will calculate the 0-60 time using a smoothed curve through your data. The 0-60 time, 0-60 distance, and estimated 1/8 mile speed come out on the table to the left. If your actual speed at the 1/8 mile is more than a couple of MPH away from ...

A few years ago I created an Excel spreadsheet for calculating your 0-60 times as accurately as possible using timeslip data for 60', 330', and 1/8 mile. I've heard that the results obtained with the spreadsheet are within 1-2 hundredths of the times obtained using direct instrumentation in the car.

It’s based on the 60’ time so traction off the line plays an import role (as it does with 0-60 time). I tried the 1/8 mile calculator and it said my 0-60 was 3.05 seconds which I know is way off. According to this chart my 0-60 time is 4.6 seconds which I believe to be much more accurate. 60' to 0-60 conversion

I took the Z06 and the E-Ray out today for some 0-60 runs. The Z06 was consistently 2.8 to 2.6 seconds. The E-Ray was consistently 2.4 and 2.3 every single time. I'm going to upload a full Z06 and E-Ray comparison video pretty soon, but the biggest takeaway from the 0-60 runs was how the E-Ray hooked up. The E-Ray has the expected advantage and ...
