Holt, Renfrew & Co., Limited (doing business as Holt Renfrew and colloquially Holt's) [1] is a Canadian luxury department store chain founded in 1837 by William S. Henderson. The original William Ashton & Co. store in Quebec City , Lower Canada (now Quebec ) operated as a fur shop.

Holt Renfrew Ogilvy, formerly and still colloquially Ogilvy (French: La Maison Ogilvy), is a Canadian department store founded in 1866 by James Angus Ogilvy. It is located in the downtown neighborhood of Montreal, Quebec, and as the only one of four major west-end stores in the city that has retained its original name, has been nicknamed the "grande dame of Saint Catherine Street". The long-time Downtown Calgary store, designed by Ross and Macdonald in the 1920s, was largely demolished in 1988, although two facades were preserved and incorporated into a new Holt Renfrew store as part of a redevelopment of Calgary Eaton Centre (in 2009 Holt Renfrew re-opened in what was once Eaton's second downtown location).
