Willard Gordon Galen Weston OC CVO OOnt (October 29, 1940 – April 12, 2021) was a British-Canadian billionaire businessman and Chairman Emeritus of George Weston Limited, a Canadian food processing and distribution company.
The Buffalo News was founded as a Sunday paper with the name The Buffalo Sunday Morning News in 1873 by Edward Hubert Butler, Sr.. [ 5 ] [ 6 ] On October 11, 1880, [ 7 ] it began publishing daily editions as well, and in 1914, it became an inversion of its original existence by publishing Monday to Saturday, with no publication on Sunday.
It has an important association with the immigrant German community in Buffalo during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The cemetery includes approximately 21,000 plots. [2] John McHugh (1844–1910), Indian Campaigns Medal of Honor recipient is buried in Condordia. [3] It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008. [1]
