Codville Lagoon Marine Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada, located on the southwest end of King Island. The park was created in 1965 because it is a significant site to the Heiltsuk People. This park, which is approximately 755 ha. in area, has an unmaintained trail to Sagar Lake which has a red sand beach.
The next section of the river curves south from Sugar Lake to wind up running north again before entering Mabel Lake, which is a fair-sized mountain lake as typical of much of Interior British Columbia (e.g. Shuswap and Adams Lakes elsewhere in the same season, the original Arrow Lakes and Kootenay Lake).

Sugarloaf Provincial Park has an alpine ski resort on the unnamed mountain ridge that is adjacent to but separate from Sugarloaf Mountain. During the winter months, the alpine ski resort offers a variety of alpine skiing for all enthusiasts ranging from beginner to expert, as well as other winter activities such as snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ice skating, snowmobiling, and sleigh rides.
The community is situated across the lake from Crowfoot Mountain on the southern shore of Shuswap Lake. It is 24 kilometres east of Sorrento, British Columbia, which is about 20 minutes by automobile. Access to Eagle Bay from Sorrento is via Blind Bay Road and Eagle Bay Road or via the Trans-Canada Highway, Balmoral Road and Eagle Bay Rd.
