Warner Bros. Movie World is a theme park on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.Owned and operated by Village Roadshow Theme Parks, the park opened on 3 June 1991.It is part of a 154-hectare (380.5-acre) entertainment precinct, with the adjacent Village Roadshow Studios and nearby Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast, among other sites operated by Village Roadshow.

On 3 June 1991, Warner Bros. Movie World opened to the public. [5] One of its original attractions was Warner Bros. Classics and The Great Gremlin Adventure. [5] A duplicate of the Australian attraction opened with Warner Bros. Movie World Germany (later renamed Movie Park Germany) on 30 June 1996. [6]
The first Roxy Theatre was installed at Warner Bros. Movie World ahead of the park's opening on 3 June 1991. A replica was later built at Movie Park Germany (which was known as Warner Bros. Movie World Germany at the time). In 2005, the theatre underwent a major refurbishment which included the installation of 4D motion seats. [1]
Following the success of their first Halloween Family Fun Night in 2006, Warner Bros. Movie World ran a one-off Looney Tunes Christmas event on 23 December 2006. The event featured a Christmas parade and Looney Tunes shows. [2] In 2007, an extended Halloween Family Fun line-up returned but the Christmas event was discontinued.
The Road Runner Roller Coaster opened at Warner Bros. Movie World on 26 December 2000. [3] The ride was modelled after Roadrunner Achterbahn, and its opening forced the relocation of the Looney Tunes Musical Revue to a location in Main Street near the Movie Magic Special Effects Show.
