The 145th Armored Regiment, Ohio Army National Guard, is a parent regiment under the U.S. Army Regimental System, with headquarters at Stow, Ohio.It currently consists of the 1st Battalion, 145th Armored Regiment, a 600-soldier combined arms battalion [broken anchor] of the Ohio Army National Guard located throughout northeast Ohio.
The 155th Ohio Infantry Regiment, sometimes 155th Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry (OVI) was a Union Army infantry regiment in the Union Army during the American Civil War.It was among scores of regiments raised as Hundred Days Men to provide relief for veteran troops to enable a major U.S. War Department push to end the war within 100 days.
Between 1870 and 1877, the regiment was reorganized as independent companies based in south-central Ohio. During 1876 and 1877, the companies were consolidated as a result of labor unrest and became the 5th, 6th and 14th Infantry Regiments of the Ohio National Guard. On 27 July 1878, the 5th Infantry was consolidated into the 6th and 14th.

The lineage and history of the 6th Ohio Infantry Regiment was carried on by the 147th Infantry Regiment during World War I as part of the 37th Division, and during World War II as a separate unit. The unit continued as the 1st Battalion, 147th Armor (Ohio Army National Guard) until that unit's reorganization in 2007.
