[3] The newspaper is published from Bengaluru, Hubballi, Mangaluru, Shivamogga, Kalaburagi, Gangavathi, Belagavi, Davanagere, Hassan, Chitradurga. It was started by VRL group, headed by entrepreneur and politician, Vijay Sankeshwar in October 1999.
