The following is a list of episodes for the NBC television series The Pretender. The series ran for four seasons from 1996 through 2000, with 86 episodes produced, plus two television film sequels that aired on TNT in 2001.
On July 8, 2013, it was announced through The Pretender Creators Facebook page that the series would be reborn. [12] On July 19, the producers stated in an interview that they planned graphic novels and then a mini-series/movies. [13] The first Pretender novel, Rebirth, was released on September 22, 2013, in eBook and paperback through Amazon. [14]
The film begins with Jarod (Michael T. Weiss) working as a professor and searching for a mysterious artifact.Both he and Ms. Parker (Andrea Parker) received e-mails containing a photograph of their mothers standing side by side at the end of the previous film, and it is revealed that the artifact Jarod is searching for appears in the photograph, engraved on a wall behind the two women.
According to The Pretender: Rebirth, Jarod uses about 20% of his brain, while most people use about 10%. It is also revealed near the end of season 2 that Jarod and his brother, Kyle, share a rare blood type, AB− blood. It is mentioned twice in season 4 ("Risque Business" & "Cold Dick"), that Jarod has a pistachio allergy.
Among his television roles are that of a terrorist in season two of the hit show 24 and as Broots on the NBC series The Pretender. He had a guest role on The X-Files in the episode "Sleepless". He played Dylan McKay's drug dealer in season 5 of Beverly Hills, 90210. He played Ben Linus's father Roger in a recurring role on the TV series Lost.
