Colin James Robertson Mair (21 December 1919, Edinburgh – 11 December 2006, Wishaw) was a Scottish educator, and rector of the Glasgow private school Kelvinside Academy. Educated at the Edinburgh Academy , Mair studied classics at the University of Edinburgh , where he graduated with honours in 1946.
The building itself was the home of the New York University Stern School of Business from the late 1970s to the early 1990s.
