MakFest (Macedonian: МакФест) founded in 1986, is the largest festival of Macedonian popular music. It is held every year in November, in Štip , Republic of Macedonia , at the Cultural Center "Aco Šopov" ( Macedonian : Дом на Културата "Ацо Шопов" ).

Skopje Fest was revived in 1994, after Macedonia gained its independence from Yugoslavia, and has since taken over MakFest as North Macedonia's chief music festival. Since the late 1990s, Skopje Fest has also been used as the Macedonian national selections for the Eurovision Song Contest.

In 2014, at the international festival in Macedonia "Makfest" Loba won award for the Best performance with the song "Samo moj". She attempted to represent Macedonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 national final Skopje Fest 2014, with her song Edna edinstvena, which came in 7th place overall, despite being a fan favourite to win.
