Re: Bloomingdale’s Credit card - How many inquiries is too many? It would not surprise me that Citi Retail may have some different approval rules for their various co-branded cards they offer. In general for Citi, nothing for 6 months prior is better.

I think my Bloomingdale's store credit card was closed because I stopped using it. I received a MyFico score alert saying my score dropped by 3 points. Reason? "Closed or paid account/zero balance. Account closed by credit guarantor" next to my Bloomies account. However, when I logged on to my online account, the card appeared to be open/active.

Hmmm very interesting, that's the first time I ever saw a message like that when applying for a credit card. A day ago I applied for the Macys card and was approved for $300. They pulled EX . For the Bloomies card, Citi pulled Ex. Guess I will need to wait. Really want the Bloomies card
Re: Frustrating Bloomingdale's Credit Card Experience After reading a few other posts regarding CLIs and the Amex versions for Macy's/Bloomingdale's, I'm starting to think that the upgrades of the past are gone and one will have to cold app/re-apply for the additional account--If not online, then in the store.
