Those mods could easily be transferred to any SR series other than the SR22. I find the factory triggers on mine to both be very good and never considered changing them. Probably the best though, is to spend the money on ammo instead of triggers. Ruger SR9, SR9c, 10/22 Carbine, K10/22-22. Ghost1958.

  4. SR9/Security 9 Mag Interchangeable? - Ruger Forum

The RAP mag slot is offset from where the 9c. Left is the SR mag, Right is RAP mag. The rectangular slot is what holds the mag in. The RAP is offset to one side so Ruger could ensure people had to buy extras for it. Nice right. A modified SR9 mag will work in the Security 9 but will stick out about 1/2 inch. You could also modify a RAP mag to work.

  5. Question on Ruger SR-Series Magazine Well Being Loose?

2 posts · Joined 2021. #1 · Aug 29, 2021. I just picked up my new Ruger PC Carbine (Model# 19116 as legal in California) from my local FFL dealer. It comes with the Ruger SR-Series Magazine-Well pre-installed. I noticed the Ruger factory magazine sits quite loose in the Well. As a matter of fact, I can pull out the magazine without pressing ...

Item # 90449 . It is compatible with the PC Carbine™ and PC Charger™ with the SR9/S9 magazine well insert installed. This magazine may be used on the SR9c®.

My understanding is the SR series was to be replaced by the RAPs. I bought mine within a few months and comparably priced - under $300. I have Hogue grip sleeves on all 3.

I managed to complete my collection of the SR series by adding the SR40 (used) and SR40C (new). My first SR was the 9E followed by the SR45 and SR9C. All guns (except the SR40C) have the Galloway Precision striker, striker block springs, striker indicator and recoil spring and guide rods. The magazine disconnects have been removed.

The Ruger PC Carbine 9mm comes with accommodation for two different types of magazines; the Ruger standard (SR-Series ) comes pre-installed, plus it ships with an adaptor for Glock magazines. I don't have any other 9mm firearms so cross-compatibility isn't my issue.

  10. Ruger PCC 9mm SR Series Mag and SR-40 Magazine Compability

    www.rugerforum.net/threads/ruger-pcc-9mm-sr-series-mag-and-sr-40-magazine-comp...

What I just discovered was that the supplied 9mm SR series 15 round mag will fit and work in the Ruger SR-40 semi-auto pistol. I just wanted to put this out there as I know many owners of the Ruger 9mm PCC also opted to use the Glock mag well in lieu of the Ruger mag well. The difference between 9mm and 40 cal ( 10 mm ) is insignificant and the ...

  11. P series vs. SR - Ruger Forum

I have upgraded this gun with some Galloway parts--indicator and spring, mainly. I would unhesitatingly recommend the SR series over the P series. And I have loved my P89, its just clear that even Ruger has advanced up a level in technology, and the SR line is a whole lot of gun for the money. Two thumbs up. Gundahar.
