  4. Ruger LCP Max 380 Elite trigger safety issue

    www.rugerforum.net/threads/ruger-lcp-max-380-elite-trigger...

Hello, Yesterday, I just bought a brand new Ruger LCP Max 380 Elite (red trigger). I had to buy it online and do an FFL transfer because I couldn't find the elite locally (so I could not test the trigger). I have never fired it. I am right handed. I brought it home and began testing the trigger with my RIGHT hand.

  6. +P ammo in LCP? - Ruger Forum

You guys get the necromancer award for resurrecting an over 5-year-old thread! Just kidding - it’s an issue that comes up from time to time, so great chance to rehash it. Ruger says “no +P” in the LCP, probably at least in part because +P isn’t defined in .380 ACP, so you have no idea how “hot” it is.

Found a solution to the LCP being hard to rack. I was having a heck of a time racking my new LCP as well as my Walther PPK. .380 as both have really strong recoil springs. After much aggravation I decided to take matters in hand and solve the problem.

  9. Lcp vs Lcp Max - Ruger Forum

The original LCP has a longer heavier trigger pull compared to the Max. I'd say the LCP has more like a revolver like trigger pull. Me, I like that longer heavy trigger pull. Personal preference. I don't like pocket carry either. I can fit either in my pocket, but for draw I feel I can do better from a holster.

  10. Recoil.. LCP vs LCP Max - Ruger Forum

    www.rugerforum.net/threads/recoil-lcp-vs-lcp-max.413242

The gun itself will not make an appreciable difference. The ammo, however, will; a fully loaded LCP will have more net weight than a LCP Max with one round. By my looking, a .380 weighs about 1/3 oz. With 10 in the gun, that would be 3 1/2 oz. So the biggest factor in the recoil will be if the gun is fully loaded or has just one round in it.

  11. Ruger LCP MAX - laser recommendation - Ruger Forum

    www.rugerforum.net/threads/ruger-lcp-max-laser...

It actually would be a passable idea IF there was a useful laser available for that model pistol, which there isn't. The only useful such lasers are the 'Laserguard' style, from Crimson Trace. There IS an alternative, so long as you can accept the limitations: TR39GS for Ruger LCP Max-TR39GS. bevron44.
