672/504 = 4:3. Despite knowing how to round to mod2, you should avoid resolutions that have to be rounded up or down because if the aspect ratio isn't perfect, your monitor probably doesn't support it. Some common 4:3 resolutions -. 320x240 (mod16) 640x480 (mod16) 704x528 (mod16) 720x540 (mod4) 768x576 (mod16)

3/13/2011 Update: This registry edit is no longer needed as the new patch, V1.25, adds widescreen resolutions to the video options in the game. Warcraft 3 by todays standards is an old game, but it is still popular. Larger monitors, 21" or larger, have native resolutions that are not supported by Warcraft 3.

  5. Why do you play better on 800x600 compared to 1920x1080?

All 4:3 resolutions feels much smoother when you are moving your mouse in-game compared to higher 16:9 resolutions. Lower resolution feels a bit more responsive but your visibility turns worse. My theory is that with lower resolutions you get more FPS which results in smoother and more responsive mouse movements.

Quote: F520 or FW900 are the best. F520 has a slightly higher refresh but its 4:3 21", FW900 is 16:10 and 24" WS. It should be considered that even though the F520 can do 170hz, and the Fw900 160hz, the hz is achieved on low resolutions like 1024x768 on the F520.

The 32" AHVA (BenQ BL2301PH) and PLS (Qnix UHD 325) are vastly superior colour, contrast, pixel response time and glow wise, as are most of the budget 1080p IPS released in the past two years compared to 99% of 30" IPS unless one mistakes their inaccurate wide gamut colour over-saturation for quality. 4k is a gimmick for gaming at 60hz due to LCD sample and hold blur (applies to all 60hz 4k ...

Native resolutions are technically more precise, while interpolated resolutions could be nearly as precise, or very bad, depending on the implementation. As an example, in Avago's original 3080 sensor, the native CPI resolutions were 400 and 1600; often times 800 CPI (1600 halved) would be an interpolated resolution that the mouse manufacturer ...
