Oct 21, 2010. Messages. 174. Jan 1, 2011. #4. I recently decided to buy a set of two knives for a friend (poor quality, but cheep and he's been known to lose/break knives) so I checked out cutlery corner. Found something interesting, went through the hassle of getting a username, and bought it. Two weeks went by, and nothing.

Would like to know your thoughts about this knife company because up until this purchase I had never heard of it. Oh about Frost Cutlery and their cutlerycorner.net, and Cutlery Corner show. I purchase a Michael Prater fixed blade that handles was constructed from a new color of corelon. Which patent is owned by Frost Cutlery by the way.

    1. Sep 20, 2009. #6. The knives would embarass a carnival game worker. A lockback that takes 2 thumbs to work. $12 shipping for a $20 purchase that took 9 days to get to Phoenix. Their 2 for 1 could be 10 for 1 and still cheat you. A fixed blade that has to be pried out of the sheath.

Business slows in the summer so you need to be creative. If you offer something for free people will buy, ask any salesperson. So we offered a free knife with a $5 purchase. Lowest thing over $5 I sold for $8 I had less then $1.5 in it, so a free knife ($1.3 my cost w/ S&H) was cool with me.

I've been watching SMKW when it's on, but rarely watch Cutlery Corner anymore. I have seen some Colt's on CC and I also saw them selling a RR about a month ago. The Saturday Night Knife and Gun show usually shows products from both companies. I've been noticing that SMKW is starting to show a lot of United Cutlery products lately.

Jan 8, 2012. Messages. 368. Dec 5, 2012. #3. It's pretty common. Their knives are mostly junk. Cutlery Corner is owned by Jim Frost, not surpisingly a friend of the late Jim Parker. They do sell some nice Case knives but their knives are very, very cheaply made.

Jul 12, 2009. #3. I don't watch Cutlery Corner because I'm not willing to buy anything they have to offer. Tactical Knives magazine conducted a test of the kinds of knives they sell. You can see the results in the September, 2008 issue beginning on page 38. I do watch Knives Live (SMKW). Every once in awhile, you can pick up a real bargain from ...

Okay, okay, I know a lot of folks are pretty leery of Cutlery Corner. Yes, I understand that they sell a lot of fantasy knives and shoddy tactical knives to folks that don't know any better, etc. However, if I'm looking to buy around a hundred knives to give away over the next year or two, the prospect of paying $2/ct for Steel Warrior and ...

Not sure about blade length on 56. I have the 56L at 4.3 inches. 1095 steel, black finish. 23 bucks and change on Amazon.
