    ive got an fzr600 motor and a cb750 motor sitting in my garage i can weigh for you if you like. I would guess my drz motor weights about 60-70lbs without starter. suzuki was nice enough to put magnesium valve cover and engine covers on it. the old kick start only model was 260lbs dry(48hp), the s model was 296lbs dry and 40hp.

It will slightly alter your center of gravity and put more weight on the front tire as well, which means less wheelies and, again, quicker steering.

    Now figure out how much you can safely lower your bike. This part is simple. How much space is there between the dust seal and the lower triple? (Dust deal and bottom cap for USD forks.) Mine was 5.5". Subtract your suspension travel and this is how much you can remove. 5.5" - 2.5" means I can lower the front by 3".

    To be honest, I found it to have plenty of power for even the most aggressive pace on the streets. You can easily find the limits of the suspension and grip before you run out of power. It has a fairly broad torque band from 3k on up, and really wakes up about 8k before pulling to a top end of an honest 155.

But your main area of concern is air box/t-body area it will be tight. I've seen gsxr motors in quads and dirt bikes (with relocated fuel tanks) UF's 2017 winter buildoff MOE POWA.
