Joseph Hunter (24 December 1875 – 24 July 1935) was a politician in the United Kingdom, and member of parliament (MP) from 1929 until his death. [1]In 1927 he had taken up a new post as Director of the Liberal Campaign Department centrally, a pivotal position during the run-up to the 1929 general election campaign when he was one of the party's national organisers.

Joseph Hunter (3 August 1855 – 4 January 1891) [1] was an English professional cricketer who played for Yorkshire County Cricket Club from 1878 to 1888, and in five Test matches for England in 1884–85. He was born at Scarborough, Yorkshire, and died at Rotherham, Yorkshire. Hunter was a wicket-keeper who played in 162 first-class matches.
