  2. What are some things that are 1/8 inch long/thick?

    www.reddit.com/.../comments/xalbep/what_are_some_things_that_are_18_inch_longthick

Your phone charging cable is probably, roughly, an ⅛" thick, but it varies and may be as much as 3/16". 1/8in is a little above 3mm, and a quarter is about 1.75mm, so it’s between the thickness of two quarters stacked on top of each other to two quarters plus a dime stacked on top of each other. Bakers commonly stack two quarters to measure ...

  3. How do Americans measure things smaller than an inch?

    www.reddit.com/r/NoStupidQuestions/comments/sl67j8/how_do_americans_measure...

It's both. Pretty common to use 1/2 inch all the way down to 1/16th of an inch. Especially, conversationally ex: a board about a quarter inch thick., roll the dough 1/8th inch thick etc. But rulers have centimeters and millimeters on them as well as inches, and this is also normally used for measurement.

CR-10 Mini .2mm nozzle .1mm layer height 20mm/s print speed. Admittedly I probably could have lowered the layer height even more, but I was being impatient to test out my new nozzle. Welcome to the 0.2mm club! I couldn't stop printing D&D minifigs after I got mine working.

  6. Is a 22.2mm stem the same as a 1" stem? : r/bikewrench - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/bikewrench/comments/jtgimj/is_a_222mm_stem_the_same_as_a_1_stem

Thanks! A 1" threaded steerer fork uses a 22.2mm quill stem, a 1 1/8" threaded steerer fork uses a 25.4 (1") quill stem. So while there's a chance the listing is talking about a stem for a 1" fork, there's also a chance it's talking about an actual 1" stem. I wouldn't buy without confirming which it is with the seller.

  7. An 1/8 of inch oil oil? What??? : r/cookingforbeginners - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/cookingforbeginners/comments/skh2ms/an_18_of_inch_oil_oil_what

A thin coating all the way across the bottom of the pan. Just use chopstick, spoon, whatever and use it to check the depth if you can't estimate it. 1/8” is about the thickness of an aux cord prong. Ha. I did this last night with 1/8“ in a 12 inch skillet (made Wienerschnitzel).

The most useful tech diagram “cool guide” in audio cabling interconnections is the RaneNote 110, written 1985. Everybody here needs to read this. Densely packed with actually informative language and diagrams, clear and concise, and easily digestible to even the least knowledgeable person. This is a great guide.

Hawgs Chubbies 60 mm. 1/8 inch riser. Bones bushings. The original bushings was too soft for my weight and when I cranked them down eventually they got destroyed. I like the black Bones so far. I reused all original washer and put the Bones washer board side (between original washer and bones bushings) to match the height of the original ...

  10. Do Dremel 1/8" to 6mm adaptors exist? : r/metalworking - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/metalworking/comments/10zf9l8/do_dremel_18_to_6mm_adaptors_exist

It doesn't have to be pneumatic. Milwaukee is making 12v cordless die grinders that look pretty appealing. You can also get 1/8" carbide burrs as well. They're pretty cheap from Amazon, etc. Dremel is designed for a max shaft diameter of 1/8" (3.175 mm), however 6mm seems to be a popular size for carbide burrs presumably because that is a….

We have a 7/8" Bosch bulldog from the late 80s on the truck that has an honest 100,000+ quarter inch holes on it and it's still kicking. These are extremely robust tools, either the 1" or 1 1/8" will last forever doing normal trade things. Go with whichever is on sale at the time
