Lincoln Township is one of twelve townships in White County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census , its population was 622 and it contained 276 housing units. [ 1 ]
Lincoln had its start in the year 1852 by the building of the railroad through that territory. [3] It was named for its founder, Theodore Lincoln. [4] A post office was established at Lincoln in 1855, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1953.
