Martha's Vineyard Hospital (MVH) is a not-for-profit community hospital located in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts, a town on the island of Martha's Vineyard. Founded in 1921, it is the only hospital in Dukes County .

MEEI and MGH are both Harvard Medical School teaching hospitals; the MGH departments of Otolaryngology and Ophthalmology are actually departments at MEEI, [4] [5] and both hospitals tend to refer patients to one another.

The MSPCA assumed control of the Foote Memorial Animal Shelter on Martha's Vineyard in 1945 until 2009, when ownership of the shelter was transferred to a local animal shelter. Also in 1945, Angell became the first veterinary hospital to institute 24-hour nursing and veterinary care.
