The Vaalserberg (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈvaːlsərˌbɛr(ə)x]) is a hill with a height of 322.4 metres (1,058 ft) [1] above NAP and is the highest point in the European part of the Netherlands. The Vaalserberg is located in the province of Limburg , at the south-easternmost edge of the country, near the town of Vaals (after which it is named).
The northern point of Rottumerplaat (middle island, extension to the right of the picture) is the northernmost point of the European and the entire Kingdom of the Netherlands. Southernmost point of the European Netherlands, with the border making almost a 90-degree turn running to the right and to the front of Boundary Pillar No. 12.
