Snow was born in Ardingly, Sussex, the son of George D'Oyly Snow, Bishop of Whitby, and Joan, a pianist who studied at the Royal College of Music. [4] He is a grandson of First World War General Sir Thomas D'Oyly Snow (about whom he writes in his foreword to Ronald Skirth's war memoir The Reluctant Tommy) [5] and is the cousin of retired BBC television news presenter Peter Snow. Madeline is an animated preschool television series produced by DIC Entertainment, L.P., as part of the Madeline media franchise.
