The Plymouth Prowler, later the Chrysler Prowler, is a retro-styled production sports car manufactured and marketed from 1997 to 2002 by DaimlerChrysler, based on the 1993 concept car of the same name. The Prowler was offered in a single generation in a front-engine, rear-drive, rear-transmission configuration. Total production was 11,702.
The design was also derived from the Neon, but with elements borrowed from another DaimlerChrysler concept car, the Plymouth Pronto. The Pronto Cruizer has a grille and fenders that similar the one used on the Plymouth Prowler. A roll-back fabric top was used on the Pronto Cruizer as well.

Only one engine was available, the Chrysler-engineered 3.5 L V6, initially created for first-generation LH vehicles and revamped for the newer LH line. It was shared with the Plymouth Prowler and a limited edition R/T variant of the second-generation Dodge Intrepid. The engine was shared with the LHS and rebadged Concorde (2002–2004).

Over his career, Lingenfelter won 13 career national event events in Competition Eliminator and was the first driver in the class to break the six-second quarter-mile barrier.
The Plymouth Pronto was a small concept car released in 1997 by Plymouth. The design was modern for its time along with several retro-style touches. The front of the Pronto resembled that of the Plymouth Prowler. The Pronto also featured a roll-back fabric top. [1]

Additionally, Foose was inducted into the Darryl Starbird Rod & Custom Car Museum Hall of Fame in 2002, the Grand National Roadster Show Hall of Fame in 2003, the Detroit Autorama "Circle of Champions" [14] Hall of Fame in 2012, and the San Francisco Rod and Custom Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2005.
