Of the six school districts in Crawford County, two exceeded state standards over the past year: Colonel Crawford and Buckeye Central. Bucyrus, Galion and Wynford all met state standards.
Crawford County is a county in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As of the 2020 census, the population was 83,938. [2] Its county seat is Meadville. [3] The county was created on March 12, 1800, from part of Allegheny County and named for Colonel William Crawford. [4] The county is part of the Northwest Pennsylvania region of the state. [a]
The Crawford County School district had 903 disciplinary incidents in 2023, a 49% increase from 608 total incidents in 2022, according to the department’s K-12 Student Discipline Dashboard.
