New Jersey Swimming (NJ) is the Local Swimming Committee (LSC) (governing body) for competitive swimming in the central and northern New Jersey area. They are a member of USA Swimming and the Eastern Zone. Most of the athletes who compete in NJ-sponsored swim meets are youths under the age of 18.
They have a men's team and a women's team and are based in Brisbane. [ 1 ] The Queensland Thunder was formed in 2018 after a Water Polo Australia review required the two Brisbane based teams – the Queensland Breakers and the Brisbane Barracudas – to form a single entity.
The East Coast Bays Barracudas is a rugby league club based in Browns Bay, New Zealand. Currently, they compete in the Sharman Cup, [ 1 ] the second division in Auckland Rugby League . Coached by Ken McIntosh and managed by Cameron Dick, the "Cudas" are currently based at Freyberg Park.
The 1976 NCAA Men's Division I Swimming and Diving Championships were contested in March 1976 at the Smith Swimming Center at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island at the 53rd annual NCAA-sanctioned swim meet to determine the team and individual national champions of Division I men's collegiate swimming and diving in the United States.
Teams played in county competitions, against touring teams and occasionally went on tours, however the sport faded towards the end of the 20th Century as swimming moved indoors, however a new league was formed in 2004 with a large junior competition based in swimming pools. Coastal Water Polo continues in the summer at both West Bay and Weymouth.

The name "Broadbay" is an interesting one 300 miles (480 km) from the coast. Settlers who came in 1770 to join the Moravian Church and found the settlement of Friedland originated from Waldoboro, Maine, a town known at the time as "Broad Bay".
