The cheer squads and dance team compete annually at the UCA/UDA College National Championships in Division 1A. The Coed Cheerleading squad won for the first time in 2011 and then again in 2015. They came in second in 2017, fourth in 2018, and third in 2019 in the D1A Coed Championship.
The inaugural meet was held in 2017. Each year, it is held concurrently and at the same venue as the NAIA competitive dance championship. The most successful programs have been Oklahoma City and Saint Ambrose, with two titles each. The reigning national champions are Saint Ambrose, who won their second national title in 2023.
